CatScanFailed (CSF) Ver: 1.0 for WildCat! v3.xx & CatScan - 07/18/92
This is a little program to create a log of the FAILED Scan entries
from your Activity.Log(s). It's primary purpose was for the use of
remote sysops, but I have found it very handy for my own use in
local mode. It will be easy for multi-line systems to implement
using an unused node number, or the sysops local node. Single line
systems could utilize any file name for the output file and have it
in their files database to type the file out on line. CSF.EXE can
be located in any pathed directory.

CSF 6
Simply run this program from the directory where you have appended
(copy+) your Activity.### logs to, run in your nightly maintenance
before WCPro if you have WCPro delete your logs and build a history
file.
The optional number following the run command is the number of days
back you want to keep in the log. In the demo file it will keep 6
days back thru todays date (60 day max value).
The following info is hard coded into the program:
# Days : 7
Work file : ACTIVITY.CSF
Output file: ACTIVITY.099
If you wish to use a different output name then use the optional
CSF.CFG file, this file must be located in the directory where you
run CSF from, it will not be searched for, if it is not found then
the hard coded default will take over. The work filename can not be
overwritten and it is deleted upon completion of CSF.

v1.0 - Initial release
I have tested this program pretty thoroughly on my own board under
DV, standalone under DOS and in a 5 node Lantastic configuration
without detecting any problem, but as with any software, wide
variations in system configurations can sometimes cause unexpected
or unforseeable results. For this reason, I make no warranties with
respect to this program as to its usability, safety to data, or any
results deriving from its use, and accept no responsibility for any
loss or damages directly or indirectly caused by using it.
If this program is useful to you, a modest registration of $5.00 is
in order. The program is not crippled in any way. Registration will
entice me to release other small utilities for WildCat! that I have
on hand and to release new utilities in the future.
Any bug reports, comments or suggestion are solicited and welcome!
Thanks,
Cam DeBuck
